Since Megan's car lease is up at the end of this month, we went car shopping and agreed upon a Volvo. Now, there's nothing unusual about that but the salesman had an EERIE resemblance to Hunter S Thompson. His face had the same jowls that Hunter possessed and he had on the same style aviator glasses but they weren't shaded like HST's were. His voice had the same raspy tone to it although he didn't speak in the same cadence as Hunter and he also didn't have a cocktail in one hand and a bottle of ether in the other. If Hunter had faked his own death, I doubt he'd be selling Volvos in suburban Atlanta and if he did, the place would resemble the hotel bar scene in the movie adaptation of his book "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas".

[HST] "The beautiful thing about this trunk is you can hide about 17 kilos of coke in the wheel well if you ever come across that need".

[Megan] "Well, I was really hoping to find out more about the safety ratings of this particular model. I read online that this chassis is surrounded by a steel frame?"

[HST] "Yes yes yes. The sturdy frame is prefect for making getaways when the Federalis invade your meth lab and they set up blockades with those overpriced Impalas. Aim for the front fender and those coppers don't have a chance of following you. Of course you'll want to upgrade your windows to be of the bulletproof variety."
